These days it's not a huge surprise if a celeb lands on Amanda Bynes' 'ugly' list.

Before the embattled actress was hospitalized on a 5150 psychiatric hold for starting a fire, Amanda went on a celeb-bashing spree, calling everyone from Rihanna to Miley Cyrus less than attractive.

But, there may have been more reason behind it than spite.

According to a declaration obtained by E! News, when Amanda's parents tried to secure a temporary conservatorship over her, they revealed that their daughter "has profound issues with her body image and is obsessed with the idea that she (and others) are ugly."

Take a look at 10 of the celebs that landed on Amanda's ugly list.

1. Miley Cyrus: Amanda tweeted a pic of the Queen of Twerk at the Billboard Music Awards and called her 'ugly.' Miley later said in an interview, "I won't even entertain that," adding, "I think it's all so sad, that I don't want to add any fuel to that fire. I was rooting for her comeback until she started attacking me and I just thought it was hilarious that she mentioned my name the moment I was the worldwide trending topic on Twitter."

Following Miley's interview, Amanda backtracked on her previous sentiment, saying, "@MileyCyrus thank you for rooting for me doll! You are one of the prettiest girls! I want my nose to look like yours after my surgeries!"

2. Sarah Hyland: Amanda kicked off a feud with Sarah and her boyfriend Matt Prokop when she called the Modern Family star "ugly." Matt was not amused and quickly snapped back, "If you're not hot I don't care about you. look in a mirror...Stop getting work done. Save what's left." Not one to go down without a fight, Amanda fired back, "your girlfriend has an ugly face like you."

3. The Obamas: Yup, Amanda insulted the President of the United States. "Barack Obama and Michelle Obama are ugly!," Amanda tweeted for no apparent reason. Naturally, the POTUS and his wife never responded.

4. Drake: Sure, at one point she tweeted that she wanted the rapper to "murder her vagina," but that was just how she felt on that particular day. Since then, Amanda's love-hate relationship with the "Started From the Bottom" crooner has been all over the place, calling him 'ugly,' to issuing an apology to calling him ugly again.

5. Jay-Z: Back in February, Amanda tweeted, "Ugly face" and linked to a photo of Jay Z. She later deleted the tweet.

6. Lance Bass: The former N'Sync singer and Amanda got into a war of words in May after he gave a radio interview saying he hopes she "gets the help she needs." When she got wind of the interview, Amanda tweeted, "I ignored Lance Bass on twitter and now he is saying I have a mental illness. Sorry you're an ugly ex boy band member w/ no talent or career." Lance responded, saying, "Ouch--The Amanda I know would never had said something like this to me."

7. Courtney Love: The rocker, who has had troubles of her own in the past, tweeted, "@Amanda Bynes pull it together dude." To which Amanda replied, "Courtney Love is the ugliest woman I've ever seen. To be mentioned by her at all makes me and all my friends laugh!"

8. Rihanna: Amanda decided to go off on Rihanna one random day in May, writing (and then deleting), "You look so ugly tryin to be white." And then this low blow, "Chris Brown beat you because you're not pretty enough." Rihanna seemed to respond to Amanda's attack, writing, "List of things nobody got time for: 1. That!" Amanda snapped back, calling the singer "fugly."

9. Kid Cudi: Amanda took aim at Complex Magazine and Kid Cudi at the same time, tweeting, "I'm so sick of the articles you write about me. I want every fake article deleted. Ur d*ck whipped by my ugly ex @ducidni who's looks and talent have always been questionable to me, him being the ugly duckling that he is and all. U quote him non stop, then take professional shots of him for ur covers, his best photos aren't sh*t compared to mine at my best."

10. Jason Biggs: The American Pie star asked her if she was "having a stroke" following one of her Twitter rants and Bynes tweeted back, "@JasonBiggs you're so ugly I won't talk to you."

Chris Brown may have new, more troubling neighbor issues ... we've found out he's moved deep into the San Fernando Valley, and one of his new neighbors is threatening lethal force if Chris steps onto his property.

Real estate sources tell TMZ ... Chris is renting an 8,000 square foot, 6 bedroom house in Agoura ... it's near the Malibu border but technically part of the Valley.

It's a pretty sick pad.  It has a commercial ice cream bar, dance studio, billiard room, as well as a tennis court and clubhouse.

Chris likes ragers -- he had one over the weekend -- and there's plenty of space to park 75 cars.

Now the problem.  We spoke with one of his neighbors, who said flatly, "It can be the devil.  I can care less.  I don't care if they're having orgies.  It can even be Saddam Hussein for all I care, as long as he doesn't trespass onto my property.  If he does, I shoot him."

This guy's seen one too many Clint Eastwood movies.

 

Bid for lunch with Warren Buffett? $2.16 million

In the world of charity auctions, Michael Corbat is no Warren Buffett.
Mr. Corbat, the chief executive of Citigroup Inc.C -0.56%, was kind enough to give up an evening of his time to go to dinner with the winner of a charity auction that raised money for  BYkids, a nonprofit that teaches young people how to make documentaries.
After 22 bids on the website Charitybuzz, and some frantic action in the last few minutes, the auction just concluded with a winning bid of $26,000. The winning bidder had a username of “metsgod.”
It’s an amount that will certainly come in handy for BYkids, and wouldn’t have been possible without Mr. Corbat’s generosity. But we can’t help but compare the result to some other recent charity auctions with prominent business leaders.
This spring, Charitybuzz auctioned off dinner with Wells Fargo & Co. CEO John Stumpf. It sold for $28,500. The chance to lunch with former Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner went for $50,000, and a meal with former Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke went for $70,500.
But those are all downright bargain-basement prices compared to the cost of dining with Mr. Buffett, the chairman of Berkshire Hathaway Inc.BRKB -0.79% Mr. Buffett has long auctioned off lunch as a way to raise money for the Glide Foundation, a San Francisco charity that offers food, clothing, shelter and health care to the needy. This year’s winning bid was for more than $2.16 million.
But Mr. Corbat should take heart. Compared to some of the other auctions currently running on Charitybuzz, he’s still a member of the 1%.
Also on the auction block this week is a change to glad-hand with Don Rickles backstage in Las Vegas (current bid: $1,721), chat with psychic medium to the stars June De Young for an hour ($1,055) and meet pop singer Robin Thicke of “Blurred Lines” fame ($550).
A representative for Charitybuzz  said the winner wanted to remain anonymous. But whoever it is, the website promises, they’ll get a chance to chow down with Mr. Corbat and talk about a few of his favorite topics: banking (even if his own is wrestling a lot of demons), the economy, fly fishing and skiing. His wife, Donna Corbat, will even join if the lucky winner wants to bring a partner.
Drink and tip are included. But Mr. Corbat gets to pick the restaurant.

Former minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nasir El Rufai lost his son Hamza El Rufai at about 5:30am on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in a motor accident.
He was driving the a black Lexus car when he ran into a stationery blue colored Volkswagen Saloon car around the Ningi Barrack along A.Y.A – Kubwa road, Abuja.
Two persons were involved in the crash but only 23-year-old El Rufai died. According to the Federal Road Safety Corps, his corpse was taken to the national mosque by his parents while the crashed vehicles were deposited at the Maitama Police station.
He was a student of Rochester Institute of Technology, Dubai.

Ebola Virus Update:Lagos Pastor Claims to have Ebola Cure

Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, Founder of Trinity House in Lagos claims to have the cure for the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease that is currently ravaging Africa.
Following the first discovered case of Ebola in the country, Ighodalo said he had a “message of hope and faith” that would uncover the solution to the highly infectious disease.
According to Ighodalo, God’s “anointing” and the “living words of Jesus,” were all that are needed to cure the deadly disease,” adding that mere laying of hands on those afflicted with the incurable Ebola virus was all that was required to liberate them.

But Fela did not reckon with the flashy wives of most Nigerian pastors when he sang that song, perhaps because the phenomenon became pronounced after Fela died in 1997.
A review by P.M.NEWS suggests that these pastors look first, for beauty and brawn before several other considerations of their dream partners. And according to Chris Nwachukwu, a businessman resident in Benin, the Edo state capital, southsouth Nigeria, it shows that apart from having deep faith in God, the pastors also have a very good taste. President Jonathan strongly condemns terror attack in Kano, Adamawa, and Cameroon

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan wholeheartedly condemns the recent terrorist attacks in Kano and Adamawa States as well as the kidnap of the Lamido of Kolofata in Northern Cameroon, Lamido Seini Lamine and the wife of the Vice Prime Minister of Cameroon.
The President describes as shocking, callous and reprehensible the multiple bomb blasts that occurred in Kano within 24 hours, and the unrelenting attacks by the Boko Haram at a time the Muslim faithful are observing the holy festival of Eid el Fitri.
He commiserates with the families of all those who lost their loved ones in the Kano and Adamawa attacks and wishes the injured speedy recovery.
President Jonathan further notes that the deployment of young women as suicide bombers represents a new low in the inhuman campaign by these terrorists and an expression of utter disregard for the dignity of the female gender as well as a wicked exploitation of the girl-child.
The President states that the abduction of the Lamido of Kolofata and the wife of the Vice premier of Cameroon clearly underscores the regional security threat that Boko Haram has become.
He welcomes the recent resolve by the Defence Ministers of Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Benin and Niger to further strengthen existing partnerships in order to forestall the desperate attempt by misguided elements to turn the sub-region into a battleground for terrorism and radical extremism.
President Jonathan urges the security forces to remain resolute, and not be discouraged by the desperation of the agents of evil. He believes that with the continued cooperation between Nigeria’s security forces and their counterparts in neighbouring countries, the war against terror will surely be won.

Another Bomb Blast At Trade Fair Complex In Kano Today

A bomb went off this afternoon around 1.40pm at the Trade Fair Complex on Zoo Road close to the popular Shoprite shopping mall in Kano State. According to police report, a female bomber about 18 years old died, while at least six people were injured. The area has been cordoned off  by security attached to Shoprite.

Woman Sacked Because She Was Too Sexy And Her Breasts Her Too Large

The website for a Manhattan lingerie boutique called Native Intimates has a photograph of a well-endowed woman pushing her breasts together. So, it’s odd that an employee of the shop is claiming she was fired for being “too hot.”
But that’s exactly what Lauren Odes is alleging.
“When I was first told that I was ‘too hot’ and that my breasts were too large I was shocked,” said Odes in a statement released Tuesday. Her sexy appearance, she said, got her a pink slip from an employer who sells intimate apparel much sexier than your basic slips.
Not surprisingly her story is getting a lot of media attention thanks in part to the celebrity lawyer representing her, Gloria Allred, who held a press conference Monday about the allegations. Allred has taken on many high profile and controversial discrimination cases in her day, including the case of a banker who claimed in 2010 she was fired for being too sexy.

In Odes’ case, however, the work environment would seem a bit more conducive to a little cleavage.
Odes began working for Native Intimates on April 24 handling data entry and shipping tasks, but by May 1 she was out of a job. She alleges her supervisors told her that her choice of clothing was disliked by the company’s owner, an Orthodox Jew.
In a statement, Allred said a complaint has been filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in New York claiming Odes “was simply fired for being attractive and for not conforming to the religious strictures imposed by top management, apparently for having female body parts, despite having ably performed her professional duties.”
A woman reached by phone at Native Intimates would only say: “We’re not interested in giving a comment.”
A spokeswoman for the EEOC would not comment on the complaint.
Odes is alleging two types of discrimination: one based on gender and another based on religion.
Being too hot is not a protected category under the nation’s labor laws, but being terminated because you’re a woman or for religious bias is a legal no-no.
It’s unclear exactly why Odes was fired, but what is clear is employers have a lot of latitude in restricting what their employees can wear.
“All companies, regardless of whether they’re selling lingerie or whatever, are permitted to have and enforce dress codes that an owner sees as appropriate,” said Keisha-Ann G. Gray, an employment attorney for Proskauer, a law firm that represents employers. “They are permitted to require their employee to dress conservatively,” she noted, if it’s applied equally among workers of different genders, religions, and races.
Odes said she asked about a dress code when she was hired. She said she was told to look around and see what everyone else was wearing. “The dress varied from very casual athletic wear to business dress,” she said.
She also claimed she was wearing “very covered up attire” but it was her body that was the target of her employer’s disdain. She said that at one point a female employee suggested that she consider taping down her breasts.
Women are often held to a double standard at work when it comes to their appearance, said Anne York, associate professor of economics at Meredith College’s School of Business in Raleigh, N.C.
While a supervisor may have thought she might turn off customers, she said, a well-endowed woman would seem like the perfect fit for a lingerie business.

Ebola Virus Update: Liberian Goverment shut down border crossing across the nation

Following the worst outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus, the Liberian government has moved to close border crossings across the nation.
Speaking at a task force meeting on Sunday, July 27, 2014, President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf stated that the Liberian government was doing everything within its powers to curb the spread of the virus which has claimed at  least 660 lives in the West African region.
This comes as a 2nd American aid worker died in the country and a Liberian died in Lagos, Nigeria as a result of contracting the virus.

“All borders of Liberia will be closed with the exception of major entry points. At these entry points, preventive and  testing centres will be established, and stringent preventive measures to be announced will be scrupulously adhered to,” she said.

Under the new measures, public gatherings such as marches, demonstrations and promotional advertisements also will be restricted.
